ELH is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over three decades of working to help families who have experienced trauma via experiencing Domestic Violence and having to leave their homes to seek refuge in unknown shelters. 

Over the years, she has participated in the opening and startup of shelters specific for families who have experienced domestic violence.  She has built therapeutic programs to promote and enhance healing.  One of these tools that has worked for many years is called EXPRESSIT (showcased on INSTAGRAM: elhdvawareness), a non-verbal therapeutic tool that seemed to work to peel off and heal many layers of pain, emotions, and subdued feelings. 

While on vacation on many islands, ELH ensures that she talks about domestic violence awareness to the people at the hotels, resorts and marketplaces, distributing brochures, small trinkets and tokens on the subject. She pleads with her audience to “pull domestic violence from under the rug” and to take a stand and vow to advocate against domestic violence and its impact on families. 

The ELH Brand was created to depict mainly the awareness of domestic violence and other causes and to place aspects of each cause on shirts, mugs, tumblers, etc.- all in the name of pulling the secret and shame from under the rug. 

It is the hope that ELH would be supported by many in her pursuit to promote awareness.  Purchasing these items displayed or making custom orders will certainly help to achieve ELH’s Mission.
